What is the difference between a private transfer and a chauffeur service ?

What Are the Differences Between a Taxi and a Private Chauffeur (VTC) ?
Unlike a taxi, a Private Chauffeur (VTC) :
– gives you the price before the ride.
– has no meter, traffic conditions do not affect the fare.
– does not charge extra for luggage or additional passengers.
– has no roof sign, so you travel discreetly.
– is not allowed to pick up passengers on the street or use bus lanes. -
Can the Driver Refuse the Ride ?
Yes, for safety reasons, the driver may refuse the ride if :
– The number of passengers or the amount of luggage exceeds the vehicle’s capacity.
– The client is aggressive or visibly intoxicated.
– The client is accompanied by an animal. (unless previously agreed and allowed)
– The client did not mention the presence of a child under 10 years old. (a child seat is mandatory)
