Every September, Biarritz becomes the capital of classical and contemporary dance with the Le Temps d’Aimer la Danse festival. (The Time to Love Dance) This unmissable event celebrates the diversity of choreographic arts, welcoming dance companies from around the world to the stage.
For over 30 years, this unique festival has brought together professionals, amateurs, and curious spectators in a spirit of discovery, emotion, and sharing.

💃 An International Dance Festival
Founded in 1990 by the City of Biarritz and Thierry Malandain (director of Ballet Biarritz), Le Temps d’Aimer la Danse has established itself as a leading festival in France and Europe.
For 10 days, dance is expressed in all its forms: ballet, contemporary dance, hip-hop, flamenco, African dance, neoclassical… A true dialogue of cultures on stage and in public spaces.
